RIP Jack Ely

The most famous garage-punk singer of all time, The Kingsmen’s Jack Ely, has died aged 71.

We honour the late great singer with a Shindig! TV show rendition of “that hit” and the entirely different 1968 single, ‘I Guess I Was Dreamin”, an obscure cover of the song originally recorded by UK psych-pop band The Fairytale.
