MAXWELL FARRINGTON’S deep lounge crooning is perfectly accompanied by an antique drum machine, acoustic guitars, space country banjo and lush strings arrangements to deepen the melancholy hope contained within the lyrics. The video, by Cyril Pooley at Woom Studio, is influenced by the work of Jean-Michel Folon and Röyksopp is focussed on the one place we’ve all spent an inordinate amount of time recently, the sofa.
