We move to Sutton with our new venture HAPPENING SOUTH on 9th Feb. Our first Sound Lounge takeover really is a “happening” too, a bit like Jeff Dexter’s old Implosion all-dayers at the Roundhouse. We have the guys from the mag deejaying rare 45s… There’s great food and drink… plus best of all, we have four amazing live acts. From folk to psychedelia, this will be a perfect Sunday!

SAM GRASSIE: A fingerstyle guitarist and songwriter from Glasgow.

EMMA TRICCA: A musical wanderer, weaving folk, rock, and experimental tapestries in her sonic odyssey.

GREEN SEAGULL: A London based baroque psych-pop band, taking influence from the likes of The Left Banke, The Zombies, and The Association. They formed in 2016 and have since released five singles and two albums on various independent labels. They are currently recording their third LP.

BIRDS FLYING BACKWARDS: London-based psychedelic folk-rock / country-rock sextet, debut album due this year. Hear them live in session for Jon ‘Mojo’ Mills and his Shindig! Broadcast on Soho Radio.
