Bigger than anything that had gone before, Merseybeat generated the greatest tectonic shift in popular culture in the last 1000 years with a music revolution that rocked the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">In the \u201970\u2019s it started again with a new scene and yet another cellar club at its heart \u2013 Eric\u2019s. Here, the new wave owed nothing to Beatles. Bands such as Deaf School, Echo &amp; The Bunnymen and OMD led the way. Then The La\u2019s and The Stairs paved the way for the next breed\u00a0with The \u00a0Zutons, Coral and more. The story is unending.
