RiverChild is a solo singer-songwriter based in North London via the bayous of The Deep South, a storyteller in the great folk tradition, tales of heartbreak and longing and the loneliness of the big sky.\u00a0 RiverChild\u2019s voice is rare and distinctive, owing as much to the early millennium indie scene as to the country greats, filled with emotion and belief in every word. The guitar parts are melodic and unfussy, alternating between finger picking and gentle strumming that add real atmosphere to the songs as do the occasional blasts of harmonica.<\/p>\n

Three years ago RiverChild performed on London Live closing out The Evening Show<\/em> with ‘Is This The End’ earning him many new fans.
