Cosigned by celebrated labels In The Red, Last Gang, Crypt, Fat Possum, <span id=\":1dj.11\" tabindex=\"-1\">Dirtnap<\/span>, Goner, Sub Pop, Vice, <span id=\":1dj.12\" tabindex=\"-1\">Bomp<\/span>!, Norton, Sympathy For The Record Industry, and Wick (<span id=\":1dj.13\" tabindex=\"-1\">Daptone<\/span> Records), you\u2019re bound to have come across something with Sultan\u2019s name on it, where over the course of multiple decades he\u2019s compiled an insane discography built from the strength of multiple albums, side projects and top-shelf solo efforts, always with a strong deposition towards taking classic garage-rock sounds and contorting them in experimental and twisted new ways. For this most recent effort, written, recorded and produced in his own &#8216;Imperfection Studios&#8217; in Germany,\u00a0Sultan once again ups the ante, working to implement a full band and fully fleshed out instrumentation. Touring the world incessantly with his collaborative efforts with King Khan as King Khan &amp; BBQ Show, and with Bloodshot Bill as The Ding Dongs, his constant state of proliferation also led to involvement in Black Lips\u2019 <span id=\":1dj.14\" class=\"\" tabindex=\"-1\">supergroup<\/span>\u00a0The Almighty Defenders, where the much mythologised band of brothers wrote, recorded and mixed 11 tracks in the span of eight days. Part gospel, part soul, the resulting accomplishment was a testimony of hook-filled rhythm \u2019n&#8217; blues as only Sultan could forge, a boundary-pushing fusion of genres that still defies expectation.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">For new record <em>Let Me Out<\/em>, Sultan lets his own voice shine more effusively than ever before. Through 13 tracks filled with his signature moody, \u201960s inspired garage rock \u2019n&#8217; roll, Sultan \u201cdoesn&#8217;t simply revive old sounds and old excitements; he ingests them, digests them, and regurgitates them as something new and personal\u201d (<em>Pitchfork<\/em>). His <span id=\":1dj.15\" class=\"\" tabindex=\"-1\">unmistakeable<\/span> vocals, instantly <span id=\":1dj.16\" class=\"\" tabindex=\"-1\">transportive<\/span> to rock\u2019s most vintage moments, breath new life and bridge periods of time to convey the kind of music that stays with you long after its over.
