Here, we present 10 of our favourite contemporary interpretations of their songs.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>1. Sergio Mendes &amp; Brasil \u201966 &#8211; For What It&#8217;s Worth (1970)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Supremely funky take of Stills&#8217; rallying cry from the final Brasil \u201966 album, 1970&#8217;s\u00a0<em>Stillness.<\/em> Dozens of acts have covered the Springfield&#8217;s signature tune.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Sergio Mendes Brasil &#039;66 - For What It&#039;s Worth\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2oHamg_dOlk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Fever Tree &#8211; Nowadays Clancy Can&#8217;t Even Sing (1968)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Springfield&#8217;s Neil Young-penned debut 45 gets a sophisticated makeover from the Texan psych-rockers.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Fevertree - Nowadays,Clancy Can&#039;t Even Sing\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/a1pmeJxMfQE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Poco &#8211; Go And Say Goodbye (1972)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Richie Furay revisited another Stills\u00a0gem from the first Springfield album for his subsequent band&#8217;s fourth outing.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"POCO - Go And Say Goodbye\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ziPWKJWBIdc?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Friar Tuck &amp; The Monks &#8211; Mr Soul (1969)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This obscure Kansas garage-rock sextet give Neil Young&#8217;s much-covered\u00a0<em>Buffalo Springfield Again<\/em> opener a right good kicking. Not released until 2004.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Friar Tuck and the Monks - Mr  Soul (cover)\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/TIngb26hpTM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>6. The Beach Boys &#8211; Rock \u2019n&#8217; Roll Woman (not recorded)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The BBs were clearly influenced by the support band on their late \u201967\/early \u201968 US tour. Neil MacArthur &#8211; Hung Upside Down (1969)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Colin Blunstone&#8217;s short-lived alter ego turns in a suitably tasteful reading of this <em>Buffalo Springfield Again<\/em> track, only for it to languish in the vaults for 40 years.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"NEIL MACARTHUR (aka COLIN BLUNSTONE)- Hung Upside Down\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sQY-dooJl1I?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>8. Yes &#8211; Everydays (1970)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Brit art-rockers covered The Beatles and The Byrds on their debut and\u00a0this quiet-loud extemporisation on Stills&#8217; jazzy <em>Again<\/em>\u00a0offering is a highlight of their follow-up, <em>Time And A Word<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YES - Everydays\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/G2DQua8h82M?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><strong>9.
