Session - Michael Rault\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sobjw5B0kOs?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><em>Shindig! <\/em>Magazine favourite <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/michaelrault\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MICHAEL RAULT<\/a> performed an exclusive live recorded set of career spanning songs including some unreleased material and favourite covers. Michael is also joined by Pearl Charles in his shimmering studio for a couple of songs.<br \/>\nMichael is a Canadian singer-songwriter who is signed to Wick Records (the &#8220;rock&#8221; arm of soul label Daptone) his 2 albums, 2015&#8217;s <em>Living Daylights<\/em> and 2018&#8217;s<em> A New Day Tonight<\/em> were very well received worldwide. Many of Rault&#8217;s songs look at nocturnal activities, particularly sleep. \u201cSleeping and dreaming were attractive concepts,\u201d says Rault. \u201cI was looking for an escape from a lot of frustrating and dissatisfying conditions in my day-to-day life.\u201d I&#8217;m sure we can all agree that sleep is good!<\/p>\n<p>Michael is currently working on his, as yet untitled, 3rd album.
