After various experiences with bands such as Sciacalli\u00a0and The\u00a0Others, three friends start a project that plan\u00a0to continue the path that is part of their background.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: georgia, times, times new roman, serif;\">Blues, funk and psychedelia are some of the ingredients that\u00a0characterise\u00a0their compositions. The\u00a0<\/span>genre can essentially be called rock!<\/p>\n<p>After the first two albums (<em>Ape Skull<\/em> and <em>Fly Camel Fly<\/em>, issued\u00a0by Heavy Psych Records), Ape\u00a0Skull are happy to present their third work <em>Fields Of Unconscious<\/em>, produced by Ape Skull and\u00a0Skronk Records. Here we find original songs that embody the sound of Ape Skull. It also includes,\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: georgia, times, times new roman, serif;\">as with\u00a0previous albums, a cover version\u00a0customised\u00a0by their sound, in this case Jeronimo&#8217;s 1969 version of the Bob\u00a0Markley\/JJ Stalling song &#8216;Heya&#8217; (originally released by JJ Light \u2013 Stalling&#8217;s stage name).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: georgia, times, times new roman, serif;\">Ape Skull&#8217;s rock\u00a0lives in the present, with its ear turned to all the musical\u00a0genres\u00a0<\/span>that inspired the musical revolution of the \u201960s and \u201970s.\u00a0<i>Shindig!\u00a0<\/i>adore their post-psych power trio approach and suggest you buy the album.
