Not only does Michael Bj\u00f6rn get the full lowdown\u00a0on how Kevin Godley and Lol Creme became Frabjoy &amp; Runcible Spoon\u00a0after they\u2019d learned how to \u201cplay around\u201d, but we\u2019re issuing, in conjunction with\u00a0Guerssen Records, their \u201calbum that should have been\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Animal Song\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/cSjktiifsP0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Although only one single, \u2018I\u2019m Beside Myself \u2019 \/ \u2018Animal Song\u2019, appeared from\u00a0the sessions they cut with Giorgio Gomelsky for the proposed 1969 set, esteemed\u00a0music historian David Wells recently tracked down the remaining material,\u00a0resulting in Grapefruit\u2019s recent CD anthology <em>Frabjous Days: The Secret World Of\u00a0Godley &amp; Creme 1967-1969.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"I&#039;m Beside Myself\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MukuwoBlppQ?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>On hearing the proposed original album (or what\u2019s\u00a0left of it) we just knew it had to appear on vinyl.
