Across the mid-late \u201960s and well into the \u201970s, the flute was a regular embellishment, lead instrument even, on all manner of recordings that spanned a wide range of genres. Across these 32 tracks we focus on how pop music blossomed across the late \u201960s, morphing from folkish pop into prog-rock and jazz with a pop sensibility, taking in outings from Japan and Spain, alongside the UK and USA.
