The song and video feature XTC&#8217;s Colin Moulding and Dave Gregory, as well as guest vocalists Brad Cross, Christy Claes and Julia VBHB.\u00a0Glued, chopped, cobbled, smashed, barbed and mashed! That\u2019s how this video was made.<br \/>\nJulia filmed me in California lip-syncing on a treadmill, on a VERY hot day. Our dog was not amused. For the song\u2019s middle bit, we stuck me on one of them jiggly \u00a0&#8216;vibration plates&#8217;.\u00a0 When Christy and Brad came over to join Julia for their greenscreen scenes, I\u2019m pretty sure we had the fan on. Still hot, but much cooler. I\u2019m a fan of rough, glitchy edits and you get those by the mouthful with &#8216;Come Home To Me&#8217;. I like to say, &#8216;If you can\u2019t fix it, don\u2019t.&#8217; Days after the California footage was nailed down, Stuart Hobbs made the trek to Swindon to film Colin Moulding and Dave Gregory. Colin was filmed in his kitchen and Dave at the local college. With my aforementioned editing savvy, you\u2019d never know that these guys aren\u2019t performing inside your very own television set!
