Electric Looking Glass ‘Don’t Miss The Ride’ video premiere

Our fave psychedelic LA guys, ELECTRIC LOOKING GLASS, return with what may be the final instalment of promo videos for their fabulous Somewhere Flowers Grow album with this film for ‘Don’t Miss The Ride’. Expect fresh studio material soon. We can’t wait

On 26th January, Electric Looking Glass’ debut album Somewhere Flowers Grow (We Are Busy Bodies) gained a special CD release in Japan with extended Japanese liner notes.  To mark the release, the group have released a brand new promotional film for the dreamy’ Don’t Miss The Ride’.  Shot in around LA on 8mm by Harley Hill-Richmond of Harley & The Hummingbirds and edited by the group, it’s a little slice of psychedelic cinema that almost plays like a deleted scene from Head, the 1968 pop-art theatrical release by The Monkees. Clouds of coloured smoke carry the group from desert valleys to cobblestone bridges, a perfect visual for the swirling wistful organ of the track.

Electric Looking Glass debut album was announced almost a year ago to the date and was officially released on 1st April, 2021. While the pandemic has squashed touring for the album, the group is currently working on new material they hope to share later in the year.  Until then we have their latest romp for ‘Don’t Miss The Ride’, their sixth self produced music video. It’s a ride you won’t want to miss!
