Albert ‘I Don’t Want To Sing’ – Video premire

We’re so pleased that ALBERT,  one of our fave London country-soul/folk-funk/Americana acts, have their debut album Time Well Spent issued on vinyl through Echodelick (US) and Tejas Music (UK). ‘I Don’t Want To Sing’, is just one of the mini-album’s fine tracks. All who saw them perform at our Happening, were blown away

The band say: “The song was written in lockdown times and after a break up, so one way to look at it is from a romantic point of view and that feeling you get when you don’t want to do anything other than swim in self pity, which of course is part of the process, but as time went on the meaning becoming about ‘all’ relationships and wondering how people love. Having more time than ever to ponder such things was very rewarding and was a very useful tool to learn for me. We all love in different ways, so it’s important to be around ‘the’
love that works for you. “
Time Well Spent will be released on limited edition vinyl on 7th September
