Fire In Her Eyes ‘He Cries’ – Video Premiere

‘He Cries’ is the latest song from the London-based FIRE IN HER EYES, taken from their forthcoming album Look Into The Sky (Creation Youth Records)

Daniella Livingstone:

“‘He Cries’ was still a fresh track when we brought it into the studio with Youth – he hadn’t even heard it yet. His reaction was immediate, and together we built out the sound with Mellotron layers to give it that ’60s/70s psychedelic vibe.  We taught the band the song while touring Europe last October. We had just arrived in Geleen, the Netherlands, and we started jamming, the guys instantly gave the song a whole new dimension. The next night, we played it live to a sold-out Theatre Karrousel.”

Sisters Daniella and Natasha Livingstone, the London-based songwriters and multi-instrumentalists who create the ethereal and mysterious world of Fire In Her Eyes, invite you to share their world.

From psych-folk and progressive rock to pop, soulful jazz and world music, they will take you on a journey you’ll never forget. Through mesmerising melodies, captivating harmonies and rich chords, their work is timeless.

Ahead of their anticipated debut album Look Into The Sky, due for release 20th February, 2026, via Creation Youth Records (the new label set up by music legends Alan McGee and Youth), Fire In Her Eyes have released a new single from the album sessions, titled ‘He Cries’.

Produced by Youth (Paul McCartney, Killing Joke, The Verve), ‘He Cries’ is a lush blend of psychedelic folk and soft-rock that channels the free-spirited energy of the late ’60s and ’70s, whilst still feeling fresh. The song has a message of resilience and staying strong through the hard times.

“We wrote ‘He Cries’ together while spending time in Tenerife,” explains Daniella. “We wanted to create a mellow, soft-rock track that felt intimate but powerful, something built on simple chords and honest emotion. At its core, ‘He Cries’ is about resilience… holding on when everything feels like it’s falling apart. It’s a reminder to keep going, even in the hard times.”

To celebrate the release, the band will perform an exclusive pre-launch show with their full seven-piece lineup at The Grace, Islington, London on December 9th with an exclusive DJ set from Youth. Tickets available HERE.

Fire In Her Eyes play with an international seven-piece band and have had radio play on BBC Radio 1, Radio X, Radio Caroline and Amazing Radio and toured both the UK and Europe.
