The Forty Fours ‘Now She’s Gone’ – Video Premiere
THE FORTY FOURS are fab young scamps in love with the sound of pre-Beatle mania Merseybeat. Here’s the brand new video for their debut 45
“We filmed the video for ‘Now She’s Gone’ in just a few hours in blast of takes. It was a mad fun day, we literally walked in, shot the takes and then ran to play a show in Soho that same evening at Gaz’s Rockin’ Blues. All in a days work!”
The Forty Fours are a London based three-piece band, originally from Cornwall, that are causing a stir in basement clubs. We described them as “bringing a forceful new twist to vintage-tinged rock ‘n’ roll” and commented on their “tight harmonies, rhythm ’n’ blues bite and a touch of Merseybeat swing”.

The single will be a limited-edition release of 500 vinyl copies as part of the Blow Up 45 Series. All sleeves for the Blow Up 45 series are die cut with the record centre dinked. The distinctive in-house design which has been utilised since the year 2000.
